Volunteer Stories

On this page, you can find out more about some of the people and organisations involved with environmental and citizen science volunteering in the ACT.

These stories and profiles are intended both to show the range of different work that volunteers do in the ACT, and to provide a more in-depth look at some of this work.

Some of these stories were written by volunteers themselves, while others were written by staff from the Office of the Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment, so you will find a range of different voices and styles as you read through them.

If you would like to send in a story about your own volunteer work, or profile an organisation you work with, please contact us at envcomm@act.gov.au.
